Patrick Marr is a Principal in the Development Group of WRS Inc. Recently, WRS acquired Mr. Marr’s predecessor company, Cobalt Property Group, to bring commercial office building expertise along niche residential development for both multifamily and condominiums.

During his tenure at Cobalt, Mr. Marr purchased or developed more than $200 Million Dollars of commercial office space and multifamily properties in both Washington, DC, and Charleston, on behalf of his capital partners, while also executing value add and ground up commercial projects.

Prior to his founding of Cobalt, Mr. Marr has spent 25 years as an office building specialist at the Washington, DC offices of CB Richard Ellis and Newmark Knight Frank, reaching the title of Vice Chairman at both firms. Mr. Marr has transacted more than 3,100 lease transactions and $25 Billion Dollars of total lease consideration and was consistently ranked in the top 10 of all Washington, DC commercial agents from the Washington Board of Realtors for more than 15 consecutive years and was recognized as Broker of the Year in 2013.

Additionally, Mr. Marr is the founding partner of Preservation Property Company and Preservation Development, both based in Charleston, SC, that has completed the development and lease up of more than 35 single family and duplex properties totaling 162 bedrooms, in a portfolio employing a

long-term appreciation strategy.

Mr. Marr graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Finance and received a Master of Business Administration from Marymount University.

Mr. Marr has resided on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina since 2005, where he lives with his wife, Maureen, and his three daughters.
