Scott Smith is the CEO and President of WRS Inc. Real Estate Investments. Scott has been in the commercial real estate business for over 35 years spearheading the company’s site acquisitions, anchor tenant relationships and leasing efforts.

 

Since the company’s launch in 2001, Scott has developed more than 42 anchored retail shopping centers and mixed-use projects, comprising of more than 10 million square-feet across the Southeast.

Currently, Scott has projects under construction and/or management in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland and Tennessee.

Scott is presently on the Board of Trustees for the Baylor School, The Georgia State University Real Estate Advisory Board, and is a long term member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

 

Scott is a past advisory board member of The University Hospital of Augusta, GA., former Chairman of the South Carolina Housing State Finance and Development Authority and former President of the Mid-South Rugby Association.
